Drug Rehab Outpatient Treatment

Offered 7 days a week
The Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) at Ambrosia is more intensive than traditional outpatient program and is designed to achieve short-term stabilization for patients identified as currently having a substance abuse concern. The patient and family are offered services by a team of professionals including licensed therapists and physicians. The outpatient drug rehab program is offered 7 days a week with a minimum of three hours per day. It is a short-term outpatient program designed specifically for those who are experiencing relapse from drugs and alcohol or with a history of frequent relapse.

It is also beneficial to addicts or alcoholics who no longer require the intense level of substance abuse therapy provided by inpatient or partial hospitalization programs. Lastly, it can serve as an education based intervention to patients to learn about the social, physical and emotional effects of drugs and alcohol in hopes of expanding their knowledge of addiction and how to prevent relapse. We encourage you to call if you have any questions at all: 1-866-616-0069

Intensive Outpatient Components

Substance Abuse Assessments:

The first step in the admission process is taking an assessment that provides information on the extent of addiction or substance abuse and assesses the level of care needed to provide sound recommendations for personalized addiction treatment. This is a pain free process that involves being open and honest, this is also private.

Relapse Prevention Group:

These groups are designed for patients who have had previous drug rehab treatment and are motivated to maintain their sobriety but feel that they would benefit from an extra group support. This dramatically helps reduce relapse after going through addiction treatment when people are still adjusting to living a sober life back in their own environments.

Substance Abuse Education:

These educational lectures are extremely helpful to the patient in deciding if they “fit” in with this population some call addicts and alcoholics. It is also an important tool for the therapist, useful in breaking down denial. A lot of real progress happens because of these lectures.

Individual Counseling:

Patients meet one-on-one with a skilled clinician to explore issues co-existing with, and contributing to substance abuse. Clients who have mental health concerns such as depression, anger, anxiety, interpersonal conflicts, and poor self esteem are holistically treated in conjunction with specific addictions. A lot of times it is these underlying factors that are causing substance abusing behavior.
